Though the existing house was contemporary, the owner wanted to update the exterior. Several study models were made to achieve the final look.
Originally, the owner just wanted to convert his current garage to a master bedroom. When I walked into the existing house, I found out that the kitchen, adjacent to a bedroom, was very small. The current layout now has a larger kitchen with an island that opens to the family room. It also has a comfortable sitting area and wet bar next to the master bedroom.
